2007, recording the highest residential property price
growth and making the country's first year of European
Union membership as a favorable one .
An increase in Bulgaria's average property price
growth of 30.6% year-on-year to Q3 2007 was
recorded, with the country now ranking as number
one in the world on Knight Franks Global House Price
Index. The most impressive price growth was recorded
in the capital city Sofia .
